Afiqah mulai ramai diperbincangkan sejak dia membintangi sebuah iklan
biskuit. Wajahnya yang lucu serta suaranya yang menggemaskan, membuat
bocah bernama lengkap itu cepat menyita perhatian.
Afiqah yang berusia enam tahun
kini dilirik untuk membintangi layar lebar berjudul 'Perahu Kertas' yang
disutradarai Hanung Bramantyo. Dia telah menyelesaikan proses syuting
di Bali beberapa waktu lalu.
"Afiqah jadi Kugy waktu kecil, ini pengalaman pertama Afiqah syuting film," kata paman Afiqah, Idwan pada wartawan.
Di usianya yang masih bocah,
Afiqah sudah membintangi enam iklan. Menurut sang paman, bocah yang
bersekolah kelas TK B itu sebenarnya belum terlalu paham istilah
syuting. "Waktu ditanya kemarin di Bali ngapain, dia jawabnya main air
sama lari-lari," kata Idwan.
Dalam film yang diadaptasi dari
novel karya Dewi Lestari (Dee) itu, Afiqah beradegan melarungkan perahu
kertas. Menurut Zaskia Mecca, sebagai casting director 'Perahu Kertas',
awalnya dia 'menemukan' Afiqah lewat jejaring sosial Twitter. "Dia lucu
dan punya potensi untuk jadi bintang," kata Zaskia.
Proses pengambilan gambar yang
seharusnya satu hari juga bertambah menjadi dua hari. "Ternyata dia
takut sama ombak, jadi besoknya harus diulang lagi adegan itu," ujar
istri Hanung Bramantyo itu.
